Where to stay in FLL

Am flying into FLL on 2/27 and sailing from MIA on 2/28. I was going to take suggestions from this site and stay at the Hyatt Place in FLL, however, looks like it is full. Am looking for another hotel and not sure which one that would be in the same vicinty. Am really interested in visiting Las Olas area. I would like to use points so would need either a Marriott or IGH (holday Inn). Hoping that someone here will be able to answer. Thanks you so much

We like the Holiday Inn Express on 17th St. Very near to the port.
