west coast cruiser Posted January 25, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 25, 2016 I have been wondering this for a long time. Why do people want to see the Patters before their cruises? Things will probably be different when they board anyway. Just wondering.........

Mostly it just really gets me excited about my upcoming cruise, even if it's a way off!:)

rocklinmom Posted January 25, 2016 #29 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Yes, exactly, for an idea of when the first Formal Night is, and also which dining rooms are open when. Especially which dining room is open for lunch. Also how long the pizza bar is open. And an idea of the showtimes. All very helpful to know in advance. helenb Posted January 25, 2016 #30 Share Posted January 25, 2016 You mean like this? This one shows fondue being available on deck 14aft (back of the buffet). I didn't know they had fondue on the Grand Princess! Is this new? I'm very excited, as we'll be sailing the Grand next New Year's.
