Zip lines

I'm planning on doing the Zip lines here. I have to admit I'm afraid of heights. I think I can handle being harnessed on the line, my concern is how do you get up to the lines? I don't know if I can handle climbing a ladder that high.

There are no ladders or rappelling for the Tabyana zipline, you are driven from the pier to the "top" of the mountain where the zipline starts and the whole thing is from one platform to another all the way to the ground.

The one on the way to Palmetto , the Roatan Jungle canopy, you actually walk DOWN a bunch of steps to the first platform. Once you are on the platforms, you are always hooked into the safety lines. while ON the platform you are hooked in twice. Even while on the most challenging bridge, you are still hooked in , and you can just hang & relax.

 

Even if you arn't too comfortable with hieghts, you will have loads of fun!!!
