Promenade room noise question

We're late planning a 2016 summer cruise and room choices are very limited. I was wondering if the Promenade rooms are very noisy. Has anyone stayed in one before? Our other choice is the deck below the Windjammer. My guess is that the crew cleans the windjammer at night and it might be even noisier. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts who has stayed in one of these rooms. Thanks

Stayed in promenade rooms on Freedom of the Seas and had no noise issues at all...we booked on deck 7, so had rooms above and below us. Had a nice view of the parades from our room!

No noise. I always book on deck 8 since the people on the promenade can't really stare at your window. I was in a room right below the windjammer, the section in which you either make right or left and ever felt any noise.

We had deck 8 promenade stateroom on Freedom and had no noise issues. However, we had promenade room on either Navigator or Voyager I can't recall the deck maybe 6 and we had lots of issues but realized one of the speakers for the music was right beside our window.

We had a deck 7 promenade on Voyager and loved it. We didn't find it noisy at all. :)

We really enjoy PR rooms. We have stayed in one every time we are on a ship with them. Only once did we have a noise issue. We were deck 8 mid and the noise from the centrum of all places (lol) was our issue. We were on a cruise out of San Juan and they had late night Salsa parties. 2am every night. It was the only time we have ever had to call to complain about noise on a cruise.
