How Formal in The Grande?

Recommended Posts

Sailing on the Anthem next week. I booked the Grande for the first night (which I understand is not formal), and one other night.

Trying to avoid bringing a dress and all of the things that would go with it. Can I get away without one? How were other passengers dressed?

We were on the New Year's week cruise so people may have had dressier clothes with them. We went the second night, women in dresses, skirts and men were given jackets if they didn't wear one. We also went the last night. People dressed like the second night, but we also saw tees/jeans which you didn't see the second night so Royal wasn't enforcing things the last night.
