Need help choosing cruise please

My gf and I are looking to do a cruise and are trying to decide between a balcony on royal princess or an inside on celebrity silhouette.

 

Price difference is $200 more pp on princess for balcony.

 

We are a 40 year old couple and have previously cruised on royal caribbean.

 

Itineraries are pretty similar. If anyone has sailed both would appreciate input.

I prefer Celebrity Silhouette but wouldn't want to do an inside for more than 4 nights, so I would choose Royal. If your cruise is not too soon and you can wait, the price on silhouette will probably come down (very high right now), and you may be able to get an affordable oceanview or higher, with a perk. If you drink, the drink package perk is really nice.

By all reports, the balconies on the Royal are tiny, so you may want to take that into account. That being said, the natural light and fresh air that a balcony affords will win out for me every time.
