Independence of the Seas skipping Costa Maya 2/2/16

The ship captain announced around 7:45 am that we were skipping the Costa Maya port today due to unfavorable docking conditions caused by high winds.

A bit disappointed as we were scheduled to go to the Mayan ruins, but at least the tour company we booked with said they would refund payment in a situation like this.

Hopefully we have good weather as we head back to Florida.

We had to miss Key West due to high winds last month on Brilliance also. Luck of the draw

with mother nature I guess.
