bamafan0608 Posted February 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Traveling on Reflection on March 5 Eastern Caribbean cruise. Myself and my daughter....Guarantee Verandah (probably obstructed view but we don't care)...daughter is getting married in September and this is a last "Father/Daughter" trip that we will ever get to take with "just us" so we are really looking forward to the experience. Any and all suggestions to enhance the experience or things to avoid would be appreciated....I've been on 2 other Carnival Cruises but never Celebrity. Thanks in advance for the help. Looking forward to getting away from snowy Wisconsin!!!!

Rare KKB Posted February 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2016 We had cruised RCL, DCL & Princess before cruising Celebrity. We felt that everything--service, food, ambiance--we are a small tick up from our other experiences. Not huge, still basically the same league, but noticable. I suspect you will feel the same. TeaBag Posted February 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Enjoy the lawn, it's a great place to sit and gaze at the ocean. Haven't been on Reflection but have sailed on Silhouette (almost identical ship). If the Lawn Club Grill is as good on here as Silhouette, you don't want to miss it ($45/pp, but sometimes discounted) The ice cream in the Oceanview cafe is free and very good esp the After 8 flavor. Aqua Spa cafe is good to eat at for a change, also free. Pool Grill has great hamburgers. Enjoy your cruise.

Looking forward to getting away from snowy Wisconsin!!!! Have a fabulous trip! Wish I had done something like this when my children were getting married. We will be back on the Reflection and it is a terrific ship. The dining is wonderful (we are in Blu due to an Aqua cabin). I always say you can do as much or as little as you'd like on a cruise. The islands are beautiful as we did this trip last year. Take lots of pictures as everything you will see is as beautiful as the next sight you see.
