Kruizefan Posted February 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Departure of Harmony will be at 6 pm in So'ton. What time will be the end of check in normally? Will it be at 5 pm or at 4 pm already? What do you think? Gesendet von meinem Lenovo A816 mit Tapatalk
novicetraveller Posted February 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2016 About 2 or 3. Maybe 4 at the latest.
Cruisingthesuitelife Posted February 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2016 I'd say probably 4pm in my experience but that is pushing it. I've had 5pm departures from Southampton and all aboard was 3pm. It will not be as late as 5pm.
Clarea Posted February 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2016 The check-in time will be noted on the SetSail (boarding) pass.
Cruisingthesuitelife Posted February 7, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Yes but for people arranging flights, finding out that late might be too late...
Kruizefan Posted February 7, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Thanks for answering. 4 pm is rather early taking off the check in terminals :-( . Gesendet von meinem Lenovo A816 mit Tapatalk
dutchclogs Posted February 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Thanks for answering. 4 pm is rather early taking off the check in terminals :-( Don't forget there is also muster drill to factor in. Can't recall if this may before sail away?
Clarea Posted February 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Don't forget there is also muster drill to factor in. Can't recall if this may before sail away? Muster is usually before sailaway on Royal ships.
ccotting Posted February 8, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 8, 2016 Muster drill in Southampton was about 4 pm and progress to it was 3:45. People were still arriving on board but it was clear they were considered late. Then it is done for 4:30 and they have time to open the bars for sail away. Don't leave arrival too late. If you are not already in Southampton, the highway traffic can be awful. And you want to get to your room and freshen up before you need to stand for the drill for a half hour. Mark-Sheffield Posted February 27, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 27, 2016 From memory muster drill is 3.45pm, I thought last boarding time was around 3pm, with the ship sailing at 4.30pm ?
