Dan-P Posted February 7, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 7, 2016 It says may not be available to me because of location (I'm in Canada) :-( how's it looking? Looking at the Webcam, it appears overcast/cloudy and maybe windy. The Oasis is currently the only ship docked. MarineTraffic shows that the Majesty is stopped a bit North of Nassau -at least as of an hour ago when the last positioning update was received. Dan. Nado44 Posted February 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Chatted with someone on Majesty. Ship made an attempt to dock but because of inclement weather, the captain made a decision to head back out to sea.
CRUISEBOY305 Posted February 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 7, 2016 A friend of mine currently on Oasis, says he saw Majesty attempting to dock but then was unable to pull in so they turned around and left.

emmy Posted February 7, 2016 #13 Share Posted February 7, 2016 I happened to be watching the webcam this morning when Majesty was arriving. This was a capture off http://www.portfever.com (archive site for PTZtv) minutes before she aborted. The captures are all time stamped. Here is the moment she decided to get the heck out of there :)

We can always count on you for the perfect webcam shots. :D:D You are welcome :) now to figure out if Marine Traffic is accurate and she is still out there at a stand still or at sea. mo&fran Posted February 7, 2016 #16 Share Posted February 7, 2016 i am currently on the Oasis in port. The weather I saw from my balcony did not seem that bad as we approached the port. I did see another ship behind us, but really did not pay any attention to what was going on with it, Our balcony faces the ocean, had we been on the other side we might have seen more. But when we went up to the LIDO, i was surprised to see no other ships in port. Current weather is 66F , with a wind out of the west, up to 35 MPH, although the captain just announced that they expect the winds to diminish. Ship is pretty crowded for a port day. irishgal432 Posted February 7, 2016 #17 Share Posted February 7, 2016 FYI.....facebook links are usually not allowed on Cruise critic. I wasn't sure before I posted, so I checked before I posted and this is what I found. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/faq.php?s=&do=search&q=facebook&match=all&titlesonly=0 It seems to be allowed as long as it isn't in reference to a Roll Call and a direct link to the url. If I am wrong and missed something else, please let me know. Thx
Rare LMaxwell Posted February 7, 2016 #18 Share Posted February 7, 2016 Here's a photo from the Port of Nassau webcam. Looks awfully bumpy :eek::eek: That doesn't look fun at all. Gotta make that turn tight and fast to stop the wind getting too much of a hold.
Rare LMaxwell Posted February 7, 2016 #19 Share Posted February 7, 2016 FYI.....facebook links are usually not allowed on Cruise critic. Pretty sure they are. CC even has a FB page. I just don't think you can link to FB pages to solicit payments or sell travel services.

We're going to be on her in exactly 3 weeks. Sure hope we don't have this weather to deal with. Yikes!!
