Nightlight commercial

So.... I watched the commercial where the kid wants a nightlight. It's really cute, but brought up one question.

 

Are there any actual Celebrity cruises that are far enough north or south at the correct time to be able to see the aurorae?

 

Because if there are, I totally want to go on one of those.

Not usually because the ship's go north in summer when there aren't many hours of darkness, then south six months later so same problem, but the auroras can sometimes be seen as far south as Kansas so you just never know

That's what I thought. DH and I were trying to figure it out but couldn't think of one cruise where this would be a real thing. I don't think I really want to be on the North Sea going to Norway in winter....

Need a different cruise line, but simply taking a trip to Norway or Alaska is easier and you are more likely to see on land. Even a bit or light such as they have on the ship at night would make visibility very difficult.
