Rare nunuc2000 Posted February 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2016 VERY disappointed... just got notice from Princess that the cruise we booked in October has been cancelled. Even more frustrating is that we booked all of our air travel through Princess, to include the arrival prior to the Princess Oct 1 cruise (arrival on Sept 30), and to return home after our Carnival B2B Hawaiian voyage... Oct 30th. Now we have to figure out if there's something else we can tack onto either end, and to try and re-coordinate the flights again. To top it all off, we booked it using our Princess FCC's that will expire if not used to book something with Princess by May. Grrrrrrrr!!! Sure wish they would let us use that for Carnival bookings. More than a little pissed off at this point. Celine
_beachgirl_ Posted February 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Sorry to hear that. What a frustrating experience. Maybe we could help you find a nice cruise to tack on to help you out with some planning.

Maybe we could help you find a nice cruise to tack on to help you out with some planning. I looked... but there's nothing. :( I don't want to repeat the Mexican Riviera on Oct 1, so the Princess California Coastal was the perfect choice with ports we've never been to before. And the only options after Hawaii are also Mexican Riviera. So bummed.
elainmir Posted February 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Oh my goodness! That stinks! I hate that for you! You obviously have luck like mine! I hope you get it worked out.
Budget Queen Posted February 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2016 There are a lot of cruises that do the Pacific Coastal. Switch ships and consider the last of Alaska?
Rare nunuc2000 Posted February 11, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 11, 2016 There are a lot of cruises that do the Pacific Coastal. Switch ships and consider the last of Alaska? Unfortunately, there are precisely zero ships doing Alaska or Pacific/California Coastal during the first week of October. That Ruby Princess cruise was the only one... and that's the one they cancelled. :(
tamirpr Posted February 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2016 I would so upset too. Is there some way you would enjoy turning it into a coastal road trip? Not the same, I know.:(
