misslucy01 Posted February 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Radisson required a 2 night stay that wasn't possible and Hampton Inn & Suites is booked. Need recommendations for a clean reliable Park and Cruise Hotel, please. Thank you in advance. I know several hotels offering this service are in the area, but prefer personal recommendations...... brichar499 Posted February 11, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Just used the Country Inn and Suites. The property is the closest to the port. Room, food and service all excellent. Shuttle operated very well.
hbrote Posted February 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) I just booked the Radisson at Port Canaveral for a cruise in April and they didn't require a two night stay. One night with cruise package $195.00 w/parking. Edited February 11, 2016 by hbrote

glassman352 Posted February 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) We stayed at Raddison at the Port (July 2014) as part of their cruise and stay package. Although the room and property were fine, the morning of departure was CRAZY. Hundreds and hundreds of people, all with their luggage filling the lobby, entrance, sidewalk and out into parking lot all trying to hear one lady calling last names for the shuttle. Never again. Some people actually got fed up and called taxis to take them to the port. I would much rather stay at a property further away with less people to deal with. AnnaBeth Posted February 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 11, 2016 I have done park and cruise packages at country inn and suites and comfort inn and suites; we had good experiences with both.
jenanderic Posted February 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) We used Radisson last June. Same as other poster....night stay was fine but shuttle transport was very disorganized and people hopping on busses without being called. This April we are using Best Western and using their terminal voucher. May cost more but hoping its less chaotic. SteerageJoe Posted February 11, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) February 26 is the weekend of the popular Port Canaveral Seafood and Music Fest! You may want to plan accordingly as traffic may be an issue at times - gates open at 5pm on the 26th! See link! Shuttle operated very well. We always use Country Inn & Suites and really like them. If you get there early enough the day before it's an easy drive over to the ship basin to see the previous day's cruise ship sailaway and have a bite to eat at Fishlips where the webcam is located

Exactly why I'm not interested in "free shuttles". I would rather park at the port or pay for a cab.
gorgotron Posted February 12, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Go Port Canaveral has got a variety of hotels with cruise parking and shuttles, choose one that fits your liking the most. Personally leaning towards the Residence Inn at lake nona, heard nothing but great things since they've opened up. And as someone said, it's further away so you prob won't deal with as many people on the shuttle to the port.

simplelife Posted February 13, 2016 #13 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Last cruise out of Canaveral we stayed at the Titusville Hampton (drove from NC) at a reduced Hhonors point rate, and parked at Park n Cruise on Merritt Island. This worked so well we are doing the same for our July Magic Cruise. It will cost us just a little change over $100 for both the hotel and 8 days of parking (with the AAA discount).
