travelGici Posted February 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2016 It's been a few years since I've sailed RC but am a gold member with a few sailings behind me. I read that discounts will be loaded onto the seapass card. How do we know exactly what is loaded? Thank you!
Clarea Posted February 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Patti's list is still fairly accurate: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2045047 If the ship has a Johnny Rocket's there will be an additional coupon for BOGO shake. Also, internet is different than what is listed.
Ourusualbeach Posted February 12, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2016 There will be a letter in your stateroom upon embarkation listing all of the offers that you are entitled to.

Driftwoodgal Posted February 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Be sure to check that you receive your benefit. We bought a glass of beer and should have received a buy one get one free. We were told that didn't apply. I took our sheet with my receipt down to guest relations and the charge was corrected. Just check to be sure you check your sheet that your attendant leaves in your room. They did have buy one get one free for specialty restaurants on first and second nights of the sailing. The buy 1 get 1 free for specialty restaurants would be for D+. The OP is gold. Edited February 12, 2016 by Ourusualbeach
KarinaGW Posted February 12, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2016 When you are using anything loaded on your seapass from tier passes to diamond lounge drinks, make sure you mention that's what you're using..it's a different button on the register. And, their definition of bogo is not get one of the same or lower price free...it's get a second of the same drink.
JillK Posted February 12, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Thank you both! We will be on the Oasis.Glad to hear about the letter -- that will cover it.:D If you don't have one in your cabin, go to Guest Services and ask about it. We're just off the Oasis last weekend and we had no acknowledgement of being past guests whatsoever - certainly didn't receive this letter. We were asked by a waiter on Day 3 if we wanted to apply our buy one get one on some gingerales. We wouldn't have known we even had this if it wasn't for him mentioning it. Obviously, we waited and used it on wine! This was only on my seapass card. We're not aware that my husband had any offers on his, despite him also being a past guest. Jill Just off the Jewel last week: Each person gets their own discounts on their own card. We each got a letter in our stateroom the first day, listing all the offers we qualified for: several kinds of drinks bennies, 10% discounts off spa & shops, photos, free casino spins, bingo, etc. Warning! The letter looks at first like the usual random promotions, so READ it before recycling. They were all loaded onto our seapass cards & automatically deducted whenever we first used a service that applied (BOGO for specialty coffees--whee). We used his discounts for the two of us, then used mine. We didn't have to get *the same* drinks but they took off the cheaper one. pjnj40 Posted February 13, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 13, 2016 I agree with other. However you don't really need to tell the bartender about the discount. It automatic. The only thing to make sure it show on the receipt. All the nenefit on your sea pass card is one shot deal. Once you used that deal cross it off. This way you know what left. barb272 Posted February 13, 2016 #12 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Just curious, do teens who are Gold C&A have deals on their Seapass, too? If so, does anyone know what the deals are?
