Options getting to Galveston Hotel early morning?

Hey guys,

 

I booked a hotel near the Port of Galveston for the night before/morning of my scheduled Liberty of the Seas cruise on 3/27. I read that Uber is now an option to get to the port, but I'm not sure if it's a realistic option when we arrive at the airport at 11:45 PM. Any suggestions?

You didn't mention which airport you are arriving at, but with an 11:45pm arrival, I would cancel the Galveston hotel and book an airport hotel for the night, and just travel in the morning to the port.

There are many hotels near Hobby Airport. We are staying at the Drury Inn on March 19 before heading down to Galveston. This will be our third time staying there. If you don't qualify for AAA or senior you can enter "FUN" in the promotional box to save a little money. They have hot food and 3 free alcoholic drinks every night., free popcorn and soft drinks from 3-10pm, and a hot breakfast in the morning. It doesn't take that long to get down to Galveston on Sunday morning.

My original suggestion still stands. For that hour arrival, just head to an airport hotel for the night and then head to Galveston the next morning.
