Langley Cruisers Posted February 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Does Alamo car rental provide shuttle from fort lauderdale airport to cruise pier? Yes, Alamo and National are the only companies who shuttle from FLL to the pier. Other companies have offices closer to the pier. We rented from Alamo at FLL and were offered their shuttle service. :)

Clarea Posted February 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Do you know what time shuttle service starts? I would call that specific local Alamo office (not the main 800 number) for that info.

I don't know, sorry - we did not use the shuttle. We took a taxi from the airport as we had another couple with us and a lot of luggage. I would call that specific local Alamo office (not the main 800 number) for that info. Agreed. :) .
K&RCurt Posted February 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2016 A couple weeks ago we dropped off our luggage at the pier at 9:30, returned our Alamo car, got the shuttle and were going through security at the port by 10:15. I doubt you want to be there much earlier than that!
DanJ Posted February 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 27, 2016 The day we took the Alamo shuttle last month, they had 2 buses parked outside the rental centre. Not sure if any other buses were running at that moment, but I suspect not (how much do those 2 companies want to spend on that?). Would have been nice if they sorted people by ship since they had the 2 buses sitting there anyway and saved everyone having to the run to every ship lol. Also, these are airport buses, not Alamo/National buses that you might see at other airports, so make sure you look at the electronic sign on the front of the bus. It will alternate National/Alamo and Port Everglades.
