Call Carnival and ask?

Ironic, as this is what I mentally think, about 98% of the questions people put on this site. But, in this case, cashing the cards out at the casino is a no-no. People seem to manage to do it, but, it is is not anything Carnival WANTS you to do.

Funny, I have looked at pictures of cabins, bathrooms, ad nauseum, and wondered why anyone could not just look those up on the site, so why do we have to see them? But, I read through the whole mind numbing review as I am interested in a port they are going to, and an excursion, so have never made a negative comment. Kudos to you for saying what I have always wanted to say. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the current thread.

I did manage to cancel $500. of my gift cards as I just bought them today. Hopefully, I will be able to cash out the majority of the others.:)

You're right, obviously Carnival doesn't want you to use for them for an ATM; however, I don't believe that there is a $300 limit on what you can cash out at the casino. Alternatively, you could cash out $300 per day for the entirety of your cruise, as long as you are playing as well.

When I had around $1000 in gift cards I put them on my S & S account. When I went to the casino I had a limit of how much I was able to put on my players account at a time. So I put the maximum on and played a little on the slots. The next time I put more on my players account and played a little. The third time I put what was remaining from the gift cards on my players account and played a little. Then I went up to the casino cashier and cashed out my players account. I has no problem. I had about 50 points (WOW, not much) but I had only lost about $3.
