Welcome PHONE CALL??

I know someone posted something about this recently - but I couldn't find it.

 

We're about to board Enchantment in a couple of days. I missed a call today from a 305 number and when I listened to the VM it was someone from RCCL saying that they wanted to thank us for our loyalty to Royal (4th cruise) and to wish us a very happy and enjoyable cruise.

 

I'm not sure WHY they are doing this . . . . and it wasn't really a call of any substance, but I must say . . . . it's kind of nice.

 

Not sure why they called me and not the other registration linked to mine (my sister) but they didn't. It could be because we have the same last name - and they thought we were a couple. (:o) Either way - it was a nice touch. I would have PREFERRED that the upgrade fairy call me - but we've got a couple (or 100 nights at sea) before that happens.

 

Anyone know what prompted this or has this been going on all along and we were just the randomly selected people?
