Royal Caribbean luggage question

Hoping someone could verify a question for me. We are sailing on Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan in May. We return to San Juan at 6:00 am and our flight doesn't leave till that evening. Will Royal Caribbean hold your luggage for you while you tour San Juan or do you have to take it with you when you leave the ship? Thanks!

You have to take it with you, but I keep seeing people posting about a restaurant in Old San Juan - Barrachina will store cruise passengers luggage for free. I checked their website & it is listed under free services offered. We are considering that if our flight leaves late.

Drop it off at Barrachina restaurant. The service is free from 9-5 (tip jar on counter)

How far is Barrachina from terminal? If you take a cab how much is it? Once at restaurant, is there a lot to see around the area as our flight isn't till 6pm.? Thx
