sail7seas Posted February 26, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Great ideas from everybody! Not sure when you were planning on giving this to them, but I would recommend well in advance of the trip before they start purchasing many of these items themselves. I've never used a lanyard for my room card, but if you think they might, get some from the Dollar store. They might even have some blinged out ones. Good point about people likely bringing many of the suggested items for themselves.

tdavis0990 Posted February 28, 2016 #28 Share Posted February 28, 2016 We are going on a family vacation with my husband's family on the Allure in July, and I'm planning on giving a gift bag to each couple in our group . This will be their first time on Royal Caribbean, as they have cruised before on Carnival ('08) and on the Big Red Boat. I've bought some Canvas totes to put in the gifts. What other items can I get for the them? I will be making gift bags for our group cruise as well! So far I have on my list: Battery operated handheld fan Medicine in pill box -Tylenol -Immodium -Pepto Pills -Dramamine -Tums/Rolaids Sunglass around the neck holders (croakies some people call them) Cheapie matching sunglasses - thinking aviators in cool colors Lanyards - rhinestone ones for the ladies! White board for each room Qtips Flossers Pen & Highlighter Sticky Notes Ear Plugs Ziplock Baggies Gum Small bottles of bugspray, sunscreen, aloe List of liquor prices at home in case anyone will buy while at port! Get a good deal! As you can tell I think practical!

beachbum53 Posted March 9, 2016 #32 Share Posted March 9, 2016 A "lidded" coffee cup. Priceless. (if you drink coffee or tea). Nothing worse than trying to transport a cup of coffee in their mugs. By the time you get to your table, cabin, or where ever.....half the coffee has spilled all over the place. Take a trip to your local Dollar Store. :) Yes! Yes! Yes! If there are coffee or hot tea drinkers in your group, this would be an excellent gift! There are places on line, such as Zazzle, where you can order personalized travel mugs. Cruisin'Christine Posted March 9, 2016 #33 Share Posted March 9, 2016 I like the idea of adding snacks to the gift bags. Small bags of chips, cookies, nuts, etc. I love having something to munch on, if I'm in the room taking a nap or reading, or before I turn in for the night.
