For the Princess Mckinley Lodge to Kenai Lodge portion of the land tour, to anyone who has done this, do you know how long the stop in Anchorage for lunch is? Just curious if there will be any time to look around, or is it just find your own lunch and get back on board?

You'll be dropped at the Egan Center, which has plenty within walking distance. I would speculate a couple hours will be the max. Some dining, you can expect waits and slower service. If you didn't focus on the lunch you'd have time for a more extensive look, if you got a grab and go option.

Thank you so much! I know the total time says 7.5 hours, but I figured we'd have minimum 2 hrs for stopping. I would rather walk around than wait to be served and eat!

Anchorage is small. We were dropped off and had two hrs. You can grab a quick bite like pizza and then wander. There really isn't much to see and do. A couple of shops selling souvenirs. Nice to walk by the park along the water.

 

We were well done before the two hrs were up
