75th birthday

We are sailing on the Ventura on March 20th. It is my SIL's 75th birthday while on board - her first cruise. We have booked freedom dining. Will she still get balloons and a card in her cabin? Can we arrange for a birthday cake (how?) if we do freedom dining

Thanks for your help. I did look through previous posts but ended up confused.

I should report this on board to reception desk and Maitre'D. I am sure if you make it known that a party of five/six guests are going to dine at 7.30 in a specific restaurant and it's someone's 75th birthday the normal back up will be put in place at the correct moment. You need to remind the restaurant on arrival that you are the birthday group! I think you pay for cakes now so booking must include some details of what your intentions are.

I see you are a Star Clipper cruiser, I know what their arrangements are for birthdays.

Regards John
