BIGA961 Posted March 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I'm booked on the Liberty leaving the first Friday of the NCAA Tournament and I'm wondering if they'll be showing the games in the Sport's Bar. I know that I've watched NFL games on CBS in there before, so I'm hoping they'll at least have the CBS games. I've never seen TBS or TNT on there, does anyone know if they ever have those channels? We have two straight sea days, so I'm really crossing my fingers that I can watch hoops!
riffatsea Posted March 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Yes they show the games. Yes they have TBS and TNT. DH prefers to watch a lot in our cabin but sometimes goes to the sports bar if he feels his teams are winning and wants go root for them in a crowd. Does anyone know if they ever have any tournament related pools going onboard?
riffatsea Posted March 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I have not seen betting pools on the ship. That's why folks go to Las Vegas at that time of year. DH no longer bets on sports unless horses are racing!
sandij Posted March 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I did the same thing, booked during the first weekend of the tournament. I can remember in the past seeing the games on the tv in our cabin and at the sports bars/

We went last year the same week on the Conquest and most games will be on in the cabin as well as the Sports Bar and the bar in the Casino may show some of the games. No betting pools. lablover61 Posted March 6, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 6, 2016 The early rounds are all on the TV in your cabin or at the sports bar. The final four the same , plus the dive in movie screen . We were on the Glory last year during the final four and it was great watching the games on the big screen outside in the middle of the Caribbean ! Never have seen any pools. Go Green ! storm1507 Posted March 18, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) I'm a new Arkansan, originally from Indianapolis, so I'm going for the Big 10 (or 14) champions INDIANA HOOSIERS!!! Well, I think we both got shafted on the seeding, but it should be a great 2nd round game. I hope your team losing doesn't reduce your enjoyment of your cruise. :D If I were you I wouldn't watch tomorrow.
