I'm looking at a TA from Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale. Which is the best side to book a balcony for the sun? Thanx in advance

We did this cruise last year. Our cabin was on the port side and sunny.

Predominately south facing balcony for sun. Westbound would be port side and Eastbound starbard side. On the two westbound TA's we've done the weather was beautiful almost every day! Try to spend a few days pre-cruise and enjoy the lovely city of Barcelona.

An easy way to remember the answer to the OP's question is "posh," coined by the Brits -- port out, starboard home. (Starting point for them.) :)

But that was to avoid the sun on the way to India. No air conditioning in those days.
