When to purchase UBP

Can one purchase the UBP onboard or is it something You do in advance? I'm still undecided as we are traveling with teens who don't drink soda and they are required to purchase the soda package. It was not offered free when we originally booked.

You can buy it onboard. I'm not sure of the current situation, but at times it has been cheaper to buy in advance. Never the other way round.

It used to be that it was $5 per day more expensive if you waited to purchase it on the ship.

 

Now, NCL's web page no longer makes that distinction.

Just on the Star this past week and the Welcome Sheet at Embarkation stated the UBP was $79 per day, so there is no cost difference.
