confirming buffet always open on departure dinner? We have MTD with 8:15 reservation, but teens meet/greet starts @ 8pm, so teens might eat early @ buffet.

Yes to OP's question, but clarifying that the Windjammer buffet does close for a few hours before dinner each evening. On most ships, there are afternoon snacks from approximately 3 - 5 pm, and then the buffet closes to get ready for dinner, and re-opens around 6 or 6:30 pm until 9 or 9:30 pm, depending on ship.
