Regal Princess cabin change to Emerald Deck stern, good or bad?

We're on a Baltic cruise in May on the Regal Princess, just logged in and see that our cabin has been changed from R711 to E715 - we see that Emerald Deck is the lowest deck and our cabin would be above the Vista Lounge. Shall we get them to give back our previous carefully selected cabin or will this be a good move? Our main concern would be noise from the lounge as we do tend to go to bed rather early! This is a deluxe as opposed to a regular balcony - is there much difference?

Some would think its great, others awful.

Would you like to expand on that? We have never sailed with Princess so have no idea how this location will be, would really appreciate some specifics.

I think you will be thrilled with the cabin! We just spent 2 weeks on the Regal and we love the Deluxe Balcony cabins. Princess is not a late night cruise ship, we were on Emerald Deck for one week and Caribe for the 2nd week. No noise problems. Have a wonderful cruise.

I was in E701 on the Royal and LOVED the location. Absolutely terrific. No noise, convenient to the stairs and elevator. E715 is over the entrance/back of the Vista Lounge. You shouldn't have any problems with sound from the lounge. The band and speakers are on the stage or much further aft than below your cabin.

IMHO, a very good move.
