kimandtim Posted March 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2016 When I called CAS about possibility of transferring drink card to my 21 yo daughter who I added as third person in my cabin on my CAS cruise, I was told to speak to host when I board ship. My husband and I don't really need drink cards since we have UBP so it would be nice to have her drinks paid for in casino. Anyone have experience with host switching drink cards? myra711 Posted March 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2016 On my first cruise I went as a guest of my sister, so I was in a CAS room. I was considered CAS and got drinks in the casino for free. I hope this helps; it was a few years ago.

We had 3 booked on the Breakaway in the same cabin we all had drink cards in our cabin. I also booked a cabin for my son and his GF they would not give them a drink card unfortunately even though we booked them through CAS. But however many are in the same cabin as the person who is the CAS player will all get drink cards in that room. You don't need to ask the host card will be in room for all
kimandtim Posted March 12, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted March 12, 2016 Thanks! I knew someone here would know. You never know what answer you will get from the folks at NCL answering the phones - I definitely trust the members here more.
Sand and Seas Posted March 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2016 When three of my family members booked a cruise through Casinos at Sea (all over 21) they each got the 'free drinks while in casino' card. All casino player cards were waiting in their room when they boarded. I know they were well used as when we were on the same ship a few weeks later we were asked if we were related to them;)
kimandtim Posted March 22, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted March 22, 2016 How funny! Good to know. I am just hoping I have better luck on the Escape than I did on the Jade....I play video poker and blackjack and was surprised at how poorly I did. (especially after hitting a royal flush and dozens of quads on RCL's Navigator this summer)

(especially after hitting a royal flush and dozens of quads on RCL's Navigator this summer) I play video poker too. Odds aren't so good on the ship but it's still fun to play. I just try to play at a lower denom than I do in Vegas. Have had only one cruise where I came out ahead, but oh well....;)
