Be Careful Booking Air Through Norwegian

We have never used NCLAir. We will be flying to New Zealand from Boston and then back to Boston from Singapore. We do not want more than one stop and not an extremely long layover. What information on the flights will we know upon purchase?..thanks, will appreciate all feedback.:) Fred

Does anyone know approximately how many days prior to sailing will NCL provide airline and flight number?

 

We will be sailing on POA on May 14. They had an offer where we could get reduced airfare for the first 2 passengers in each cabin. Their offer was actually cheaper than buying airfare on our own plus it includes transfers to port. We're just anxious to know what flight they have booked us on. We'll be flying from Oakland, CA to Honolulu, HI.

We travel from and to New Zealand regularly, we live there, and would not travel the distance you are looking at without a 2-3-4 day stopover. But that is our choice.

 

From Boston to Auckland I suggest you use Air New Zealand; the possible are Boston-Houston or Los Angeles or San Francisco (or even Vancouver)-Auckland. Personally we avoid Los Angeles if at all possible. We have never flown through Houston as AirNZ have only recently started to fly there. We use San Francisco regularly and always stop at the La Quinta in South SF (get a room at the BACK!!).

We don't hotel in Auckland as we have family who live there. When we travel we use Best Western and the one on Auckland is well situated. Otherwise the Mercure or Stamford Plaza; a little further out is the Langham.

Never had a single issue with NCL booking our Air France flight to Paris for the Escape Transatlantic or our return flight from MIA to DTW.

 

Was able to call Air France and change to the seats we wanted and same with the Delta flight back home.

Those are the ones that take under 24 hours; you would have to check the individual airlines for more detail especially the departure arrival time and the layovers.
