Rare northwoods2 Posted March 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2016 We arrive in St Martin at noon. Any suggestion on what to do until we can board the Seadream I. Only one week away. Looking forward to our first voyage on Seadream 3/19/
Jim Avery Posted March 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2016 We arrive in St Martin at noon. Any suggestion on what to do until we can board the Seadream I. Only one week away. Looking forward to our first voyage on Seadream 3/19/16 Depending on the crowds at Princess Juliana, you could have no problem arriving at boarding time. At Marigot boarding is usually by tender. The cab ride from SXM to Marigot can take about an hour. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Pretty much the same to Philipsburg if SD is docked there. Have done it both ways. Either way, you should be just about ready to board by the time you reach the embarkation point. We usually have to arrive the day before having left from the West Coast these days. Have a ball.:D
Rare northwoods2 Posted March 12, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted March 12, 2016 Thanks. Good to know we probably won't be standing around waiting for long.
Jim Avery Posted March 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2016 Even if you get to the embarkation point a little early, there is shopping, always shopping available nearby. You can also begin meeting some of your fellow passengers even before boarding.:D
abenaki Posted March 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2016 We did it just a couple of weeks ago. The lineup for Customs and Immigration and then luggage in St Maarten can be very long and slow moving, although they have just done away with the long landing form. Our midday taxi van over to St Martin was 25 minutes. You will more than likely be at Galisbay port dock. Galisbay is just 5 minutes beyond the ferry docks in the centre of Marigot. You should arrive perfectly for 2pm boarding.
