Not sure I understand your question. A single books the same way as any other passenger. You book using one Future Cruise Credit or deposit. Once sailed, you receive two cruise credits (totally different from a future cruise credit) for cruising as a single. Edited March 13, 2016 by Pam in CA

Only one FCC needed, if you decide to add someone to your cabin later, they would be responsible for their own deposit or FCC if they have one.

One. I may be wrong, but I think the deposit on HAL may be more depending on length of cruise. On Princess, one FC deposit holds any cruise. The only exception MIGHT be a world cruise which may require a larger deposit.

World cruises and segments of a world cruise require a full deposit. An FCC isn't enough. No difference between the single and double occupancy deposit... deposits are per-person, not per cabin.
