Taiters91 Posted March 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Hey! I depart from the UK for my first ever cruise next Saturday! We are doing the southern Caribbean on Serenade. I wondered if anyone has been recently and could tell me what the weather and sea conditions have been like? Thank you :)
Ocean Boy Posted March 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Considering the times that I have spend in London, the weather will be much better than what you are leaving behind.:):p
goneclear Posted March 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2016 We are in the middle of dry season. It's hot and dry. However the dry season is usually breeze which keeps it comfortable enough. Having said that , there are still chances of rain showers passing through occasionally but usuall pass pretty fast. Because of the breeze time of the year the seas usually have a surface chop, nothing to really move a cruise ship. It's usually what boaters call ground swell that can make big ships move around but they can be caused from a disturbance in the middle of the Atlantic so it's hard to forecast the swell unless you are a professional weather man. In the Caribbean we only have two seasons, dry season and rainy season. Enjoy your cruise
