Haven Question

Is the Haven pool outside on the Escape? From the pictures I have seen it looks like it has a glass roof.

 

Also...is there a ton of chair hogs there too? Or does there seem to be plenty on most days?

It is inside but has a retractable roof. So on a nice day, they can open it up and let the sun rain down.

 

As to the chair hogs, I cannot speak to that.

There are loungers around the two level courtyard and out on the private sun deck.

I wouldn't say that there are a ton of chair hogs, but I have often seen them by the Haven pool area. I did complain once to the concierge about this one fairly large group that came out to the loungers every morning around 7:00, put their stuff on the "best" loungers only to return hours later. This happened three days in a row.

 

After I complained, he spoke to them and what they did was come out at 7:00, lay their stuff on those same six chairs and then took turns "guarding" them until noon when they all came out.

 

That being said, there are plenty of lounge chairs on the upper level also (both inside and outside).

Does anyone know if on the Getaway in the Haven does the courtyard have a retractable roof like Breakaway and Escape?

It has no roof. But I haven't been on since the fall.
