San Pedro Park & Cruise hotels?

Any advice for an inexpensive option for a park and cruise hotel for San Pedro? Inexpensive is good ($200ish), but safety (both us & car) comes first, so willing to up the budget if needed for safety.

We always stay at the Double Tree in San Pedro. Safe area, plenty of parking, reliable shuttle service to and from the pier, friendly/helpful staff, reasonable rates, and nice rooms (Hotel was refurbished about two years ago).
