When on the ship can you buy internet by the minute or blocks like 30 mins? I just want enough to send a few messages every few days and don't want to pay the 24hr prices.

No. Royal Caribbean no longer sells "minutes". You have to buy unlimited use for a certain amount of time: 24 hours, the whole cruise, etc.

LOS has VOOM now. I would love to here if it works well.

So far, no reports of fast VOOM like Oasis and Quantum classes.
