Our favorite place in Anchorage is Jens - a small, very nice place with excellent service and food.

We just took "potluck" in all the other places across Alaska in our many trips there. No real disappointments.

Anchorage has such a range -- from national chains to locally owned.

If you have transportation consider Parks 229 in Denali. It may be the best restaurant in Alaska.

In Seward we like both Ray's Waterfront and Chinooks for seafood; both are located overlooking the small boat harbor. The Seward Brewing Company is located near the SeaLife Center, and we've enjoyed meals there too.

I've always liked the Double Musky in Girdwood, but not everyone does.

you talkin' to me ? (like De Niro would'uh done it in Taxi Driver)

I've had good experience at Double Musky by ordering lamb and not the steak.

I've had better experiences at Chair Five in greater downtown Girdwood.
