Blackbeards Rum and Disney

Today in Grand Cayman we tried to buy some Blackbeards rum. We were told they do not sell to Disney passengers. Anyone ever heard of this?

The place was in the duty free complex just accross the street from the North terminal and was sort of combined with a Cigar shop.

Hmmm, very interesting. We've purchased BBD Rum and had it delivered to our cruise ship to be picked up on the last night of the cruise.

But years ago, we purchased BBD Rum from the shop and carried it onto the ship with us. This was a Disney cruise, and at the time, DCL allowed alchohol carry-ons. They've recently revised their carry-on policies I've read, so perhaps that's the reasoning. Maybe they don't have the authorization to deliver to the DCL ships yet since the change.
