Expedition Cruisers Question

Hi - Since there is an ever evolving definition of Country Club Casual, or Casual Elegance, which is most appropriate for gentlemen in the evening: Dress Slacks and Loafers; or Nice Chino's and Top Siders? I know Mylisa just got back from the Silver Galapagos, so perhaps you could answer my question. Thank you.

Either will do.We have done 8 Silver Explorer cruises and it would be ~ 50/50 for the men.I am the exception and will wear a bow tie on Venetian nights and for the Captain on either beginning or end of cruise nights.

Sounds like a good plan. Plenty of nights on Explorer (we've done 3 trips on that ship) where khakis and a sweater were just fine for dinner, and most wore their going ashore clothes to other meals. You have to be ready to jump up and go outside at a moment's notice, so dressing fancy is not conducive to that.
