Green Thunder on the Carnival Pride

What a ride! Have you been? Would you go?

 

Filmed this on the Carnival Pride this week. I have the Samsung Galaxy S5, and it is water resistant.

This allowed me to film this on my phone.

 

I think it worked great!

Thanks for the video. It does look like fun. It was not operating the last time we were on the Pride.

For me, the answer if NO I would not go on the slide. Too heart pounding for me. :o :eek:

Green thunder is a rush! I went down it about 50 times on my Pride cruise last year. The first time I stepped onto the platform and they closed the door, the countdown started and I thought to myself "omg what did I do!!!!" love it!

I definitely would go for it! It looks like fun. The waterpark in my hometown is supposed to have one of these ready to go this coming summer, although they haven't even started yet.

Went on it a few times...not until the final sea day though and it was so windy and cold at the top of the slide!

That slide scared the daylights out of me! It took awhile for my heart rate to come down after that one. Very fast, but so much fun!
