Jonjonisatiger Posted March 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2016 I've heard that the snorkel trail that staff directs you too may not be the best spot. Do any snorkelers out there have any tips on where the best spots are, or maybe even a map that points out the best areas? Thanks!

tinkr2 Posted June 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2016 If I bring my own snorkel gear , may I use the trail? I guess my question is whether the 30 excursion fee is for something more than a rental fee?

Can one use the trails, I read there are 14, if they have their own equipment or do you have to pay $30.
FreestyleNovice Posted July 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2016 My view on the trail (been on GSC once): I think it's freely accessible as it's just off the main beach and doesn't looks like it's supervised in some sort. The developed side of GSC also does not seem to offer good/great places to snorkel, it's mainly man made and the other side of the island is the downwind side which could be better (see Google maps). FreestyleNovice Posted August 5, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2016 Read about a good snorkeling spot on GSC! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=45234082&postcount=26 Top center, all the way up to the rocks on your right if you are facing the sea on the main beach.
