Miami hotel pre cruise with parking

Staying in Miami pre cruise. Are there any hotels that will allow you to keep your car there while on the cruise?

Most are out near the MIA airport - the MIA Embassy Suites, and 3 budget options are often suggested: La Quinta East, Comfort Suites North and Springhill Suites Medical Center. None includes a shuttle post cruise to get back to your car, so plan on a $30 cab ride.

 

Better hotels in a better area of town are located in the Blue Lagoon area -- Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites often offer parking deals.

Your other option is to stay some where cheap up 95 (Palm Beach area is 1.5 hours to POM) or even in Orlando (only 3.5 hours from Miami) and drive to the port the morning of your cruise. Parking at POM is convenient, covered and secure. Parking anywhere else will not be as convenient, will likely not be covered, and for sure will not be as secure. :eek:
