Help - MDR Wine - Any Ideas

Hi everyone,

 

I was just on the Equinox March 14th for 11 days.

 

Our Sommelier in the MDR gave us a red sparkling wine to try. I LOVED IT, and now I can not remember what it was....

 

Anybody have and ideas?

 

Here is what I know:

 

1. It was American
   
2. it was sweet
   
3. red
   
4. bubbly
   
5. and i have the classic beverage package

I checked this out and it looks interesting. We have never seen that before and this is coming from someone that spends a bit of time on the wine aisle at the store. I looked a little further and saw the recipe for a drink called 'starry night'. I think I would ask them to eliminate the simple syrup or at least cut it in half. Then ... does that ever look like a drink I would enjoy.

I have really really bad memories of sweet sparkling red wine. Sort of fuzzy memories. LOL
