Sunshine forma night

Recommended Posts

Is there a formal dress night on the Carnival Sunshine? Thanks

There are no formal nights on Carnival anymore. They are labelled as "cruise elegant." That means a more relaxed dress code and every cruise has at least one. Cruises of 7 days or more have 2.

That said, I saw some gentlemen wearing tuxes. Some ladies wearing gowns. But most were indeed more relaxed than that.

True ... however, it is not a requirement. "Dress code" normally refers to minimally acceptable dress. Carnival has changed to a "cruise elegant" to allow for that less formal dress code, but still encourages more formal dress, should the passenger choose to do so.. It is just no longer required.
