elkay68 Posted April 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) We are looking to do a 5 day cruise out of Miami with stops in grand Cayman and key west. We would like to disembark in key west and stay with family rather than going back to Miami. We are seasoned cruisers but have never had a reason to not "computer" the entire cruise. Any issues with this? Edited April 11, 2016 by elkay68 Wrong title

Merion_Mom Posted April 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Title should be disembarking one port early :) You still have time to edit. If not, triangle (upper right corner) your own post, and ask the mods to fix it.   No, you cannot do that. It violates the PVSA. RC is not allowed to "convey" you from one US port to another. They must return you to the same port of embarkation.

Rare John&LaLa Posted April 11, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 11, 2016 $300 per person We used to do the Carnival Western cruise that went between Tampa and New Orleans. They even let you join at either stop. Anyway, I just don't recall ever being warned that we would be fined if we miss the ship
Clarea Posted April 11, 2016 #13 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Is it in the contract? Never saw the PVSA mentioned specifically, but I'll bet there's enough wiggle room in the wording for the cruise line to pass it on.
