This show was for an hour over ten days, got some good views an info on ports of call, a few views of the ship,

 

Airing on UKTV's entertainment channel Watch, the reality programme Battlechefs is the first travelling cookery programme at sea. Filmed over two Mediterranean cruises on board Britannia, which was christened in April by The Queen, two groups of five celebrities will battle it out to impress judge, White.

 

Although chosen for their foodie credentials none of the celebrities are chefs. The first series features Jason Gardiner, Debra Stephenson, Alex James, Jenny Éclair and Greg Rutherford competing. Locations include Vigo, Lisbon, Cadiz, Valencia and Cartagena. Series two sees Keith Duffy, John Partridge, JB Gill, Susannah Constantine and Sam Bailey visiting Barcelona, Rome, Cannes, Ajaccio and Alicante.

 

At each port of call contenders will go ashore to gain insight into local culinary traditions and heritage and to pick up new techniques before battling it out in a "head chef" cook-off scenario for the captain and VIP guests.
