Disembarkation for a NCL newbie

Have been checking the threads out there, but not yet able to find an answer to this. On the dress code from the NCL web site it states:

Since your suitcases are collected the night before we return home, don’t forget an overnight bag for prescriptions and need-to-have items.

On carnival, you have the option to do a self assist with your luggage. Do we have the same option on NCL. Have booked the Getaway for next spring. Ready for a change. Cannot wait!!!!

Yes, here is the Miami disembarkation info for my Getaway cruise last month. Easy walk-off is only betwen 7:45 am - 8:30 am or after 10 am, according to the info. Not sure if that is true in practice.

I'm pretty sure that with easy walk off you can just get off whenever you want. You're not restricted to very early or very late. They call people by colours because that's when bags with those coloured tags will be delivered portside and they don't want too many people standing around there waiting for their bags and clogging things. If you have no bags, you just get off the ship and get directly in line for customs.
