20-year-old listed as child?

I just completed our online check-in and downloaded the edocs for our upcoming cruise. My 20-year-old sister is coded as a child, even though her birthday is correct. Is this a mistake? Or does "child" to NCL mean anyone under 21?

I suspect anyone under 21 is listed as a child, to control alcohol service.

Yep sounds crazy doesn't it.

My 18yo was a child as well from her previous cruises. The cruise consultant folks can fix it but apparently it's not an automatic system update. She went from child to platinum and they gave her a new card. Still got the corner clipped to indicate under 21 for bar service.
