If your granddaughter is traveling without her parents, you need a signed note giving your permission to sign for her.

 

My granddaughters always travel with us. I get notarized letters stating, they have permission to travel with us. Also, permission for medical treatment. Better safe than sorry.

Thank you, my daughter is with us and we have a signed affidavit from her X giving us permission to take her. I have heard horror stories of families being denied boarding because one child in the group has a different last name! Thank you all
