Norwegian Escape Haven Upgrade

we just upgraded to the haven and we set sail in four days can we make online requests for our room etc before we go or do we have to wait since we are so close to our sail date?

 

Probably can/should wait. The following is the letter you would have received if you booked in advance. It has the link to the welcome aboard booklet for the Havens and the pre-concierge contract information. CALL if you have a request. Enjoy the Escape!!! We are on our second Escape cruise next month (in a H7).

Interesting. Been in the Haven 3 times and never got this letter. We did not book directly with NCL, though.

I have a general question about upgrade prices that I bet someone knows the answer. Say I book a balcony for 1100 and someone else books at different time for 1300pp, when pricing the upgrade to a minsuite or spa balcony or haven, really anything, is the upcharge the same for all pax in same category as me or does it vary because original price factored in?

Similarly, do they make a destination between different balcony cabins b2/b3/b4 such that upgrade price varies, or might they lump balconies of the same size that are not spa balconies together for a general price to upgrade from any balcony to xyz cabin.

We upgraded from MX (mini suite guarantee) to H4 for a price consistent with what others have reported on these boards. Our original cabin eventually was assigned and was lowest level category. So I would say we paid the same price as others despite being in the lowest prices mini suite.

It seems $500-$750 is the price for a Haven upgrade.

And if you pay that upgrade do you get any of the free offerings? Can you negotiate it? I got free gratuities with my cruise and I have read that it's not offered for the Haven nor have I seen it offered since I booked my cruise, but was wondering how that would be handled if I do manage to get an upgrade.

You get the offers associated with your original booking. Your reservation will always show your original booking class and class you upgraded to.
