Have not stayed in any of the cabins under the pool deck or market place

buffet - but have this to offer - where your cabin is located the area immediately

above is the desert * and fruit section of the buffet.

This area gets to be very quiet in the late hours.

I would have more concern if you were forward under the pool area.

Note the * location of the soft serve ice (milk) cream machine and some of

the most temping deserts - the siren's song luring you off your diet !

About the MDR restaurants - the Versailles dining room is the more formal * of the two.

The Aqua is the casual freestyle dining room at its best.

The specialty restaurants are at the top - Cagney's Le Bistro Moderno etc.

Followed by the Versailles; the Aqua and then the Market Place Buffet.

Something for everyone - on a 7 day or more cruise you would have an

opportunity to sample each.

* Formal is just a figure of speech "No shirts no shoes no pants no service" -

but you don't have to be dressed to the nines in a tuxedo - simply slacks

a polo shirt and closed toe shoes and you are in - Bon Appetite !

Ate in the Aqua Dining for 5 of the 7 days. Found the menu to be uninspiring and the food a little below average, Best dinner was at the Japanese restaurant. Had the "Hot Rocks" dinners and they were will worth the $10 surcharge.

We booked mini suite 11122 last year through NCL and were assured "it was an excellent choice". Every night from 1 to 6 AM there were loud noises as though they were rolling large pieces of equipment back and forth across the floor. The first morning we had to get going early for the train to Berlin. We complained when we got back after 7 PM that night. Their first question was " Why did you not call us earlier?" They then wanted us to call them when it occurred as though they did not believe us. Our reward for very little sleep on a nine day cruise? 4 chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine!

I later complained to NCL and are still waiting on a reply from July, 2015.
